This course aims to build in students the confidence and ability to identify and critically evaluate the use of digital technologies in both formal educational settings and the informal educational processes in society. Moreover, it aims to: 1. Cultivate a thorough understanding of current issues in AI. 2. Enhance knowledge and insight into current theories and practices in the use of technology-enhanced learning in TESOL. 3. Demonstrate innovative teaching techniques for creating engaging reading, writing, listening, and speaking tasks using technology. 4. Empower students to confidently identify and critically appraise the use of digital technologies in both formal educational settings and the informal educational processes of society. 5. Master the use of the Internet in TESOL applications. 6. Evaluate and provide constructive criticism on the effectiveness of learning technologies. These objectives aim to not only impart knowledge but also to empower and inspire students to apply and evaluate what they learn in a practical and impactful manner.
