(EN)PowerFlow: Lists in Sequential
Lists in Sequential This is how we can use Lists and the Sequential AI model in PowerFlow to save time and increase our productivity exponentially. What are Lists? A JSON list is essentially a digital box where you store information in an organized way. Think of it as a sophisticated filing system. Each file (or piece of information) is labeled and stored so that your smart assistant (in this case, the Sequential tool) can easily find and use it. In the context of teaching, a JSON list can store details about each lecture, like topics, key points, and resources, in a structured format that your computer can understand! What is Sequential? Imagine you're planning a lecture series. Traditionally, you'd prepare each lecture one at a time. Sequential is like having a smart assistant that lets you outline the entire series in one go. This way, you're not just preparing one lecture but setting up a roadmap for the whole course efficiently! Let's go over an example. First, we will use Stream mode to tell it we want to give us 12 ideas to teach each week for a brand new course called "Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFTs in the Metaverse". We also specify that we want the ideas to be in a logical order for the learners, and that we want the output in a JSON list! Once it generates the list, we can click on a useful button titled Create New List on the right side of the JSON code window! Make sure to change your list's name to something that is clear to you. In this case, we will call it Blockchain Course Weekly Topics. Once we click create, the list is ready to be used elsewhere in PowerFlow! At this point, we will go to Sequential and use our list and a basic prompt to generate content for 240 slides, which is the whole course, in a fraction of the time. Essentially we're generating content for 12 weeks of our course! First, we will name our conversation something we want. Secondly, we will click on the box that says "Populate from list". We then click on Lists of Variables and select our newly made list from
